On Friday June 15, 2007 Bill Shatner was invited to chat with Tom O'Neil and the television fans on The LA Time's Gold Derby (http://goldderby.latimes.com)chat room.
In this segment Bill tell the audience his desire to be nominated for an Emmy this year.

Bill deserves every reward there is, and I want him to be nominated, and win, every time!!!
He is so gracious to other Emmy "competitors", but he has proof he is more wonderful than they are! There, I've said it!!
Paul, it's so great that you and Chris assist Bill as efficiently as you do, and thank you for everything!
