Whatever you'd like to say about your father on this day..

say it here.... Arrow

My father is far from perfect, but he's shown me enough goodness
to learn from..... and enough of the other to know what not to emulate....

He'll do... Idea

" I love you Daddy"

" A hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove... but the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child."
Forest E. Witcraft(1894-1967)

My daddy has taught me a lot about respect, honesty, and responsibility. For that I'll always be grateful.

Happy Father's Day, Gornie Cool

Sorry this is a day late!!! Ooops!!!

My dad had the patience to allow me to ask a ton of questions every time he fixed the car---you used to be able to do that by yourself when I was a kid!!! Because of this, I now know how to properly maintain my vehicle (as much as I can in this day and age) and tell when it needs fixing!!

Between my dad and my grandpa, I also have learned how to fix all sorts of things around the house!!!

I gave both of them cards yesterday to celebrate them being dads!!!! Very Happy

My Father ...

My Father's dream was to be a successful business man, to be able to give his children financial security. What actually happened was a Dad being home with us, that taught us the value of a good work ethic, integrity and showed us how to be unselfish, he also taught us that no matter how hard things would get in our personal/work lives... there was/is a light in the end. Things would and continue to get better in spite of the pain.

"I shall always and have been your friend".... Spock to Kirk.

Happy Father's Day Dad.

K

This brought to mind The Tanner's dad and a Neil Young song.

Old man look at Tanner’s life
Molly’s a lot like you were.
Ol’ Tanner look at Molly’s life
She barks a lot like you, grrr .

Old Tanner look at Molly’s life,
Barkin’ Twenty four (seven)
and there's so much more
Chew a bone in a paradise
That makes me think of wroo-wroo

Silence lost, such a cost,
Rage at things
that don't get lost.
Like a chew toy that won't get tossed
Barkin’ back at you.

Lullabies, flashlight in your eyes
Bark around the same old town.
Doesn't mean that much to Bob’s cat
to mean that much to you.

I've barked first and last
Look at how the cars go past.
But I'm with my dad at last
Barkin’ right at you, (Bald Guy)
