Hi its me websuspect. I started a new website a about a month or so called Star Base CGI where I could posts my renderings and CGI work. These ARE ALL PUBLIC DOMAIN MODELS. So I decided since I lost my 2000 posts I would change my online name to Star Base CGI. I am doing a series of renderings entitled Ships Named Enterprise. Some of the ships I cleaned up the skin or changed the lighting. So here it Is.
Ships Named Enterprise.
Enterprise is a trademark of the Star Trek Franchise, created by Gene Roddenberry and liscensed by Paramount pictures. Subjective art and Renderings By Bill Adams from public domain models. 2002. http://trekmeshes.starfleet.ch/
The very First ship named Enterprise was NX01. NX01 was an experimentle Warp 5 Ship. It opend earth exploration in deep space and help forge a friendship between Earth and Vulcan. The ship was small, cramped. It also had poor weapons and shielding. Starfleet build NX01 when it was in its infancey through many trials and tribulations. Hunger and illness on planet Earth was defeated and manking journeyed to the stars.
"The Star Ship Enterprise is a prototype and obviously had been kept under wraps, due to its futuristic design. It is 190 meters long, weighs 80,000 metric tons, and has a crew compliment of 87, she brandishes laser cannons and spatial torpedoes. Is capable of up to Warp 4 to 5, making the this the fastest ship in Starfleet history."

"On board of this ship, in 2294, Captain James T. Kirk disappeared into the Nexus.
God saves the Captain James Tiberius Kirk."
Some say he still lives, on Bajor, nearly 100 years in the future with his daughter.

Compared to all other Enterprises. Enterprise 1701 D was a floating city. Compelete with holodeck recreation areas and a bar named Ten Forward. Enterprise D was nearly three times larger than the original Enterprise.
This was a difficult model for me to render. It came with hardly any deflector dish to speak of. I assinged a blue material to it with the material editer and I put a small light inside it. I would really like to assign a dish skin to it but its all alot of work.
