This was Pauls' idea Very Happy
First, I ran downstairs and took a photo of the poster he gave me that he claims very few were ever made.
Image

This pic is a bit old (June, as the calender says.) It is missing one thing, which I have scanned in. Stuff in this next photo:
Bill's autograph, Walter Koening autograph, Jeffery comb's auto, Ricardo Montelbon auto, a plaque with 2 CDs of Spock VS Q both auto'd by Nimoy and DeLancie (4 autos in all), calender, cat-woman figure (which moved, if you look at my other thread), 1978 tray puzzle, Playmate's model of Ent-D,a pic of the Ent NX-01 crew, TV Guide's pull-out posters of the TV Guides with Trek covers, and TV Guide's poster of all the Star Trek major ships.

Image

This pic is still accurate. The itens in it are:
Day The Earth Stood Still poster, George Takei doll that's auto'd, Talosian figure, 2 TV Guide special edition magazines, 10 TV Guides with Trek covers, Riker figure, Star Trek mug, a jewelry box ect.

Image

Only thing differant about this pic and the 1st pic is that this has a really good poster. Below it, not in the pic, lies my bed.
Image

My ceiling not only has all the planets plus this poster right above my bed, but also thousands of glow-in-the-dark stars.
Image

You can almost see my Clockwork Orange poster to the left. The "Planet Earth" poster is 7 years old. That drawing of me is actually a computer-generated pic. You can also see a Star Trek clock I never use as a clock Very Happy
Image

The arrangement of the Minimates changes daily. This is a bit of a shrine. Also note Catwoman again, also Robby the Robot, Frankenstein, and an Andorian. Talos from Jason and the Aronaughts, and a skeleton from the same film are both off-camera, yet nearby (on top of the tv.)
Image

Close-up of that "drawing". Sorry it's so big.
Image

And for the grand finale, this is that object missing from the first picture. It's Bill's seal of aproval (again, sorry for the size):
Image
It says "Sarah, you are cool! William Shatner."

Oh I just remembered. There's one thing also missing from the first pic. I don't have a pic of it. It's the 35th Anniversary TV Guide that had the pic of Bill, signed by him Smile

You're just making me feel more guilty that I somehow managed to put a tiny little fold throughout the poster. I would get it framed, but I have no place to put it!

Anyhow:
WHEW!!!
I wrote this whole thing, hit submit, and a tenth of a secound later my computer reboots for no reason whatsoever! I'm VERY glad it managed to submit.

Wow, nice room Sarah! Smile

BTW, I'd like to point something out concerning the conversation we had about Bill's chest hair: Just look at Sarah's last picture of Bill's autograph! Wink

SarahofBorg,

Rare is the poster who posts a picture of her rare poster!

Better hire 24-hour surveillance. The poster abductors are out in force!

Looks good, I love the cut away posters myself. I once had one from 'The Motion Picture' but it didn't handle being moved very well Sad I've replaced it and have a few other Enterprise cut aways rolled up in a cardboard tube somewhere. Someday I'll get them framed but I really have no place for them in the spare room, might have to commandeer some wall space in the living room Wink

The minimates are great!

Cool collection Sarah! Where in the world did you get a Robby the Robot? Those probably haven't been made since "Forbidden Planet" first aired at theaters and drive-in's in the Fifties. Maybe you can get the old and the new robot from Lost in Space for Robby to pal around with.

Well, the Robby the Robot of mine is actually copyright 1996, not 1957. It's a wind-up. The box is beautiful. I paid $17 for it. It was laying around randomly at my favorite store, a sort of comic book shop.
Maybe it's worth a bit more, but I doubt it. One of his arms keeps fallin out, all it needs is some glue. I try not to over-use it, because I don't want to wear out the rubber band. But it sure is cool!!

Sarah,

Being that the poster is so ultra-rare, I highly recommend you frame it. There are places that sell inexpensive movie poster frames. I've bought a few one sheet size frames (27 x 40) at a place called "Suncoast" which is a mall retailer that sells movies and stuff. Not sure if it's a national chain, but it probably is. The frames cost between $15 and $22 each.

My original "Fletch", "Better Off Dead", "48 Hours", "Spies Like Us", and "Office Space" posters hang proudly in these types of frames in my garage!

Wow your collection is better then mine. The only three figures I have is a old Romulan figure still in the package, Sub Commander T'Pol figure still in the package and a Captain Kirk in that grey space outfit from generation wich they cut out from the movie in the package. Plus I do have a trading Card of Captain Kirk fighting the Gorn Captain. That where the Gorn has kirk in that bear hug move. I also have a autograph picture of Brain Thompson who played Lt. Klag in TNG and the Klingon helm in Star Trek Generations and some other Star Trek Character in DS9. I didn't know Brian got those two acts in Star Trek TNG and DS9 until last week. But I do have a picture of the TOS Cast not autograph. and I do have a stamp of the TOS Enterprise ship.

Don't worry Joaines. Nothing is messier then my house. And I spent like 20 minutes touching up my room before I took these pics. If you point the camera just an itsy-bit downwards, it'll look like a hurricane passed through.
It's the important stuff that counts!
I saw a frame in a nearby store for $12 that should fit. I just don't have anywhere to put it!

And I'm getting prouder by the minute Very Happy I'm gonna have to re-arrange the mini-mates more creatively and take a pic.

You can always get a storage tube - try Staples or an art supply store. It probably will run you a couple bucks and you can store the poster safely until you decide to frame it.

I wonder if there's going to be a Spplat Attack Poster made?

20 minutes! hahaha, I'd have to spend like 20 hours before I could take pictures. Although I put a big dent in the chaos of my spare room/workshop/library/computer room over the three day weekend it just is no where near clean enough to be photographed Wink
