During the height of the storm Saturday night, we heard a loud bang, like an explosion, the house shook, and then nothing. Sitting in the dark while it happened didn't make it much fun. I took a personal day today to do some repairs around here, bleach the basement floors, etc. Then Bridget and I ventured out, and found this.....
Good thing the tree fell down the hill instead of sideways or this house would of been minus a living room, and my bedroom. Looks like we'll have enough firewood for next year..... |
