Peter Graves, movie and TV Actor died outside his home after returning home with his family from a brunch in Los Angeles.

Dr.s say he died of a heart attack.

He was most notible remembered for his TV show "Mission Impossible. "

His brother James Arness is remembered from his role as "Matt Dillon "TV series. He is still living at near 90.

funeral arraigments are pending.

God be with his family as they witnessed the event, and the oldest daughter did CPR as they frantically tried to revive him and the others went in to the house to call 911.

Your mission, Jim, should you decide to accept it....is to approach the pearly gates... Peter Graves is gone. I almost can't believe it. All the A-1 guys are dropping like flies. Sad

I never realized that Peter Graves was James Arness's brother until I listened to an interview of James talking about his long career.

I am going to show my grey hairs now. I remember Peter from the show, "Fury."

And of course, those great Mission Impossible episodes were fantabulous.

I remember Peter in many roles. But other than Mission Impossible and Airplane, I loved him hosting Biography.

My prayers are with him and his family. What a very hard thing to witness and to feel so helpless.

God welcome him home on Angels wings.

Sorry to hear that.

James Arness Official Website

Little known facts:

Dodge City was an entirely indoor set. The lighting was so convincing that it fooled almost every one.

James Arness was an avid surfer.

Isn't it ironic that they'll inscribe the word, "Graves" on his tombstone? I heard the mourners at the wake only had 5 seconds to view the body before it self-destructed.

What a shame.
May he rest in peace.
I just saw an episode of HOUSE the other day that he was in.
Looked pretty good for a guy his age.

...

There are no photos yet of Peter Graves' grave. It's too recent.

But that will change soon.

Very Happy
I saw/heard this clip today as they were talking about Peter Graves today on a channel:

Radio Tower : "Över! Oveur!
Roger (Co Pilot) "What"
Oveur : "ROger!
ROger: "What?
Oveur : "Roger, Roger!"
Radio Tower,"We need your vector, Over !"
Oveur :"ÖVer!
Over :"What's our vector , Victor??""

IT went on like that for about 5 minutes ...I saw Airplane with my family a long time ago in the theater and never forgot it.
