Spock is a fine name. Spooky must know I'm talking about another dog. He's head butting my knee. Tends to do that when I'm not paying attention......to him. |

| How adorable!
I take it that the two pups get along with each other, or have they met yet? At any rate, being young, I am sure they will become best buds. |

They have briefly been set down together where Spock imediately wanted to play and prance around little Anna Beth but there is a big size difference at 2/4 months. But I figure she's half Rot (not gonna try to spell it lol) so she'll catch up. |

Although I don't know the exact locations, my rough 'guess-timation' is that there's probably about 13 hours of driving involved one-way (give or take a couple of hours). That's entirely do-able from a 'let's make it a weekend' (leave on a Saturday / come back on a Sunday) point of view... ...and my guess is David would have a cool brew or two waiting for you! |

OK, maybe you've heard me talk of IndyII, that was a guy,who went into heat, and just last night I found 5, yes FIVE, lab mix puppies under my house... You can have free blk lab mix puppies when they grow a little, but........quite a road trip |

I was an Army Warrant Officer and taught soldiers how to use a map, what can I say? |

Oh noooooo! I wish there was some way I could get one!!! How about a chain drive anyone? lol Help a sistah out? |

| I may turn out that the people who adopted Spock might decide they cannot keep him after all and return him. It has happened at our local SPCA before.
Too bad there isn't someone in Gorny's area who is a pilot. He or she could simply fly the Gorn-pup to you. |

| Y'know, with just a little enthusiasm and self-promotion, this could easily have the makings of a WSBBS 'Deep South Summit'!
Pick a Saturday evening at some point in the pup-is-old-enough-to-adopt future... Identify a suitable restaurant within a stone's throw of Gornman's longitude and latitude (along with a hotel for overnighting)... Invite WSBBS'ers within a day or two drive to attend (there's a few of us)... Have one hell of an 'adoption party' for Tina's new pup! |
| Tina wrote: | ||
And I would call him Gorn. lol |

| teclaydon wrote: | ||
During a weekend of your and Gornman's convenience, you meet the rest of your WSBBS 'co-conspirators' in Hartsfield Georgia at the appointed time and place for the adoption party ...it's that easy! |

Given the number of WSBBS'ers who call the 'Eastern' time zone home, I agree and think that - with a reasonably central location (around the North Carolina / Virginia border?), the right scheduling and enough promotion and enthusiasm, there's all the ingredients for a teeeerrific Saturday night! |

A weekend at Virginia Beach sounds good! Or wait... where is Dragoncon? Georgia? |
