I don't know how many people here are fans of the wonderful show Monk, but I was saddened to learn that Stanley Kamel died yesterday. I'm sorry to say that I haven't seen much of his other work, but since this show first came on I've always loved it and loved his character. He and Tony Shalhoub had so many wonderful scenes together, and I will really be missing that part of the show

We were shocked when I read and told my wife about this. There was nothing about cod in the article and nothing on any of the nightly news shows either.
Damned shame. Jami - Apr 10, 2008 - 11:16 PM Post subject:
65 is way too young to die. And I really liked him on Monk. angel - Apr 10, 2008 - 11:31 PM Post subject:
First couple of seasons when Monk was on regular tv we enjoyed his character. So patient and harried at the same time with Monk's foibles. Truly sad. And 65 is too young. DianaG - Apr 11, 2008 - 03:27 AM Post subject:
That is way to young of an age to die.
My Mom is a fan of Monk, I wonder if she has heard of this yet?
