They've taken Iwo Jima completely "off the map"......

Meh. They can name their islands whatever they want I guess. Seems like something the US would do. We've seen name changes around here for no particular reason too. Confused

The Disney dog formerly known as Pluto, has, in a fit of pique over recent rumors linking him with Michael Jackson, legally changed his name to Reginald Huffington III. Anyone still calling him Pluto, will be subject to being sued by Pl, I mean Reginald.

In a related story, the Disney character formerly known as Goofy, has changed his name to Tompkins, and is currently undergoing a species change to a Persian cat.

Also, it is rumored that Minnie Mouse, and Daisy Duck, after admitting they were a "couple", are suing Disney for the right to change their names to Minnie and Daisy Douse-Muck.
