We attended the Sacramento Creation Convention on February 9 where Bill and Leonard were scheduled to speak. They appeared on stage together and slipped easily into their old roles.
At times it felt as though we were witnessing the characters that they made so famous on Star Trek. Watching them perform together was almost like going back in time.

On March 13, 1982,.T.J. Hooker premiered on ABC with a pilot called The Protectors. It was later picked up as a series starring William Shatner, Adrian Zmed, James Darren and Heather Locklear. It ran in primetime for four seasons before its historic move to CBS Late Night for the final 1985-86 season. |

Another of the film's memorable characterizations is provided by William Shatner, who takes a good-natured swipe at his own celebrity status and television persona in Showtime by playing himself - more or less.
