One of the greatest feelings in the world is seeing your words in print or hearing someone say them aloud. I was lucky enough to experience both during the creation of my webisode, "Ruby."
My first challenge was coming up with a concept that I thought people would want to see. Since WilliamShatner.com is primarily geared to a sci-fi audience, the gang at Creative Light suggested I try to stay within the genre. |

When I started here at the website, I thought it would be inspiring and fun to do a section about art and its value to me. Thus, the Art Exchange was born. Now it's time to actually populate with…….you guessed it, art! I'd like to have several different art galleries available to view, one of which will be fan art. |

As summer approaches, it seems like every big budget movie is vying for the lead as the summer blockbuster hit. It got me thinking - what is a blockbuster, exactly? Is it a movie that opens at forty million and drops off the following weekend? Or is it one that gains momentum slowly, then performs well all summer and then into the fall in the foreign markets? I suppose the most obvious example is the one that opens big and stays there for weeks and weeks - the studio executive's dream movie. |

Okay, I did it. I finally broke down and watched an episode of The Next Generation. What?! You might say, you've never seen one? Shame on you! Well, the truth is, I have always been loyal to the original series. I've really only seen the first Next Generation movie, you know, the one where Kirk - dare I say it? Dies. Naturally, it didn't thrill me to see him end up that way. This would probably make sense to you, being that, well, you-know-who my Dad IS. |

Now that the TV season has ended, I've gotten a chance to catch up on some of the season's most memorable television events. I have to say that one of the most enjoyable for me has been The Osbournes. A friend of mine taped the entire season and let me borrow the tapes, so I got a chance to see all the episodes back to back. |

My Dad's a pretty special guy. I know he piloted a starship as Capt. Kirk, ran after criminals as TJ Hooker, and now sings as the Priceline spokesman. But his best and proudest role is as a dad. I felt very fortunate to be able to celebrate Father's Day with him and tell him what a special man he really is to me. |
