The need for speed is like the need for breathing, at least for me. I've always liked going fast, especially on skis, motorcycles, or cars when I was younger. But as I've raced through life, I've found new ways to experience that wonderful feeling that only speed can bring.

August 31, in Joliet, Illinois. 1500 people emerge from the early morning mist, each armed with a marker (that's paintball talk for gun). Three teams, each with a burning desire to win. At 8:00 am sharp, several flares arc high into the sky, indicating the beginning of the game. And the battle is on. |
