 The Shatners are a busy group, and the Fall is proving to be no exception. Let me tell you what we?ve been up to lately?
On October 25, Leonard?s photo exhibit opened at Modern Book Gallery in Los Angeles. My Dad, Elizabeth, and I were among an enthusiastic crowd eager to view the photos, all of which appear in his new book entitled ?Shekhina.? Leonard spoke for a few minutes in front of an appreciative crowd, and explained that the photos were meant to explore some lesser-known Jewish concepts of God ? namely, the female aspect of God. Since the more modern version of the religion does not focus on this concept, Leonard explained that he was attempting to explore an area that has aroused some strong reactions. ?There has been some controversy about what I?m doing here,? he said to the crowd. ?I think it?s fair to say although the issue is being raised about nudity and religious objects, the real issue has to do with the fact this project elevates women in the hierarchy of religion.?
I found the photos intriguing and creative, and especially admire Leonard?s courage in exploring an area of such controversy. The highlight of the event came when Elizabeth and I both bought books and had Leonard sign them.
Our next group activity was, of course, Halloween. We all trouped down to my sister Leslie?s house so we could trick or treat with her family. I went as an elf from ?Fellowship of the Ring,? Elizabeth went as a cowgirl, and my Dad went as a ghoul (truthfully, it was the only comfortable mask he could find which would cover his entire face. I mean, you wouldn?t want people to think he was going as CAPTAIN KIRK, would you?)
 We also managed to fit in a group trip to Disneyland. Everybody agreed that the favorite moment came in California Adventure, when we all got on the ride that takes you on a gliding tour of California. It really seems like you?re flying! We had so much fun on it, we did it twice! Other favorites were Splash Mountain and Space Mountain. It seems like the whole family?s got a thing about speed. Go figure.
We?re now looking forward to the holidays with much anticipation. But first I need a foot massage!

Good Morning Lisabeth, Sounds like your family is having ton's of fun together.
My Family celebrated my Dad's 75th with about 2 weeks worth of fun.
We ended the festivities by flying to Calgary to stay at my sisiters, there was about 20 of us.
There was alot of us but her house is 6000Sqft. Its an unbelievable house. It has atleast 45 windows and a clear view of the Rockies.
We hired a traditional Irish Band to play for us.
Great memories.
I was in SoCal, Dallas and Vegas last week, That was work related.
A business associate from Singapore was in town We ate Sushi everyday. That was the highlight.
Might head down to Florida for US Thanksgiving.

Elizabeth, from one and I am sure many Canadian fans of both Star Trek and Bill Shatner, it would be appreciated, if you took into consideration fans north of the 49th parallel.
Considering, your father, Bill is a born Canadian and spent his formative youth in Montreal, perhaps you should consider having a Canadian company and/or representative represent William Shatner.com.
Be happy to recommend companies and/or contacts in Canada.

We just had the pleasure of seeing Leonard here in Indianapolis this past Sunday evening. We attended his lecture at the Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation, and then had a copy of his wonderful new book signed - along with a Spock picture I just couldn't resist getting autographed!! I can't believe I got to shake Mr. Spock's hand - I was so excited! He is a wonderful speaker and a brilliant photographer, and his book is just beautiful! Thanks for your posted photo!!

You are very lucky to have such fun, and I'm happy for you. You deserve it.
Lots of things have been happenin, way too many to list, and many of which arn't so spectacular. I've posted on the BBS everythin that really goes on that I would share.
I just wanted to say that the thought of you and Elizabeth getting autographs from Nimoy is just...strange somehow. Like going up to your Dad and asking for an autograph!!
But I think I would kill to see that moment :D

HAY, LIZ: Woah. Pretty cool trip. (Do U go by that name?) Disneyland sounds way fun. I have just been reading about WALT DISNEY's life & how he got started, etc. It's extremely interesting. I didn't realize that he helped get the whole HOLLYWOOD thing started & such. WALT was an amazing man. Oh, by the way, if you ever need a foot massage, I would be the perfect guy for it. It would be an honor. Not in any bad way, but I have been known for being very good at massage, in general.
I saw you 1st at the Sacramento, CA. CON earlier this year. I got to meet your dad & Leonard there. I now display their autographs on a gorgeous, huge poster of them at my home. It is a masterful centerpiece. You sound pretty cool. Will you ever be coming by Chico? I drink liquids, & eat solids. Oh, and I am also The Pope Of All California (inside joke). Write back soon.

Liz, I grew up with Elizabeth ( only I called her Liz!). It is fun to use your website to see what she has been up to since she is so busy. We were in Anaheim the week before you were. My mom, husband and three boys were at California Adventure while I was at a scrapbooking convention. They loved the ride you mentioned that makes it seem like you are traveling all over CA. Say hi to the other Liz!

Hi Lisabeth! It is good to see you and your family out to have some fun instead of being working all the time:-)
Tell your Dad that he can trick or treat in my home town with out a mask, but dont go to the Church Fall Party my kids and I attended. Half the Church are trekkers and he would be mobbed by half the congregation!
We are now getting ready for the Thanksgiving season and then Christmas too. The day after Thanksgiving we put up the Christmas tree and do what we can to get our homemade presents ready for the Christmas holiday.
Sounds like you guys are getting a much deserved break.Have fun and keep us posted on the Shatner Clan! Hi William, Hi Elizabeth!

I am English originally, but now living in Australia. The English also celebrate Halloween (All Hallows Eve), but not usually by trick or treating, but by parties at home. We dress up and play games such as dunking for apples (picking apples out of a water barrel with your teeth!). I wanted to make a pumkin lantern for my kids (aged 9 and 2, both Trekkies) but couldn't find a whole pumpkin in the shop here in Oz to buy. We did mange to scare ourselves for Halloween though - by watching a Borg episode of TNG!
Thanks for the great site. There are plenty of Bill Shatner fans here in Australia too..

Hello to the Shatner Family,
I have experienced my very first Halloween here in America (I'm originally from England) and I have to say that they know how to pull out all the stops over here......I enjoyed handing out the candy to the darling Little Children (But made sure I kept "The Good Stuff" for myself)...Hee hee....
