Emmy Statement 2005

	Being nominated and winning once was a thrill. But the second nomination is even more thrilling.
I’m talking about the Emmys, of course. I was so flattered and gratified to learn that I had been nominated again for my part on Boston Legal. The second time around is even better than the first. It’s made even more amazing by the fact that my son-in-law, Joel Gretsch, had his show “The 4400” nominated for best mini-series (it has since been turned into a series). So it looks like this year’s Emmys will be a family affair. Wish us luck!

Well done. We enjoy watching Boston Legal. Your nomination is a testiment to all thoes involved in the series.

Bill, you just might be the unsung Clint Eastwood. Some of Clint's best work has been in the last 10 years, and he's even scoring his films, now. I think that, just as some of us always knew that Clint had it in him, those of us who remember The Intruder, Judgment at Nuremberg, and even The Andersonville Trial as well as your performance in The Wrath of Khan and countless other projects, have appreciated your talents and your dedication to your craft. With the right screenplay, I suspect an Oscar nomination isn't far off, eh? Congratulations and good luck. Bring it home for us.

Dear Bill, I have already passed comment on your second nomination ...that I think it is simply great for you to be getting the recognition after all this time. Luv ya Mate! Now I am very excited, tomorrow night here in OZ, we will be seeing the first episode of 4400. So I will be glued to the screen.

I've been listening to the song Common People non stop and I can't stop listening to it!!!! IT'S STUCK IN MY HEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS SONG IS RIDICULOUS YET I CAN'T STOP LISTENING TO IT! William Shatner is just talking! He's not even singing! The lyrics are ridiculous but I LOVE IT. I suggest everyone go find it and listen to it. Wiilam Shatner is COOLEST.

BTW Bill according to TrekWeb.com You said that You've got plans for paramount to resurrect some popular series? I've written a script myself (preety hard job isn't it?) And If you have a time to read this I will give you that story ;)

I love Boston Legal- I believe your character carrys the show.Denny Crane is a very funny and very lovable character. Do yiou know I have been watching you on Television since age 11? good of you bill. you show loads of true grit in your ups and downs in your career and personel life...nice to know you are enjoying you new roll..... i ve been a fan of yours since i can remember.... had you mentioned when i was youner with your captain kurt rolls as i called them .(as i messed about as you do as a kid ).from the fighting sequences in star trek ..Are you visisting uk in the near future? take care bill.....dave ...lincoln city england

I too would like to offer my congradulations to an actor so deserving. I have been an avid fan of you and startrek for the past 35 years. I am 38 now and can remember staying up late at age 3 to watch Star Trek. I understand we are practically neighbors. I have recently moved to Hopkinsville, Ky. The last time I saw you in person was at the Star Trek 30 Celebration in Huntsville, Alabama, and wish they had presented more of those.

Bill,

I've been watching Star Trek forever ... blah, blah, blah ... since I was a kid. My point is, I'm a huge fan of Star Trek.

Having said that, you deserve every nomination and award you can get for your role on Boston Legal. Watching what you do with Denny Crane brings me sheer joy. It's the role that makes me forget about Captain Kirk.

You and Spader enjoy every puff on those cigars. I hope the viewers get it. You all deserve huge ratings and tons of money.
