I?m sure many of you have seen the TV Guide cover with my Dad and Leonard on it celebrating TOS as one of the top cult shows of all time. Naturally, this honor makes me quite proud. It?s fitting to me that it comes close to Father?s Day, a natural moment to look at one?s Dad and appreciate him. |
The truth is, I don?t really need a TV Guide cover OR a holiday to make me appreciate our Bill. He?s something to appreciate and admire all on his own. I especially think of him at those wonderful, silly family moments like when he?s burning chicken on the grill (oops, did I say burning?) or when he?s bringing me chicken soup when I have the flu (and chocolate cake, too. Let?s face it, I have chocolate issues). I?m so glad to have him in my life and to be able to share time with him (when he?s not busy riding horses, scuba diving, racing cars, etc?). I know all of you would love to share time with him, too. I can?t do anything about his busy schedule, but you?re always welcome to share my burned chicken.
