Most of you know of my great fondness for my friend, Leonard Nimoy. It will be my great pleasure to be working with him this weekend on two commercials.
He?s become quite a droll fellow and I love him very much. Whenever we find ourselves together, we love to talk about the past, present and future.
Mind you, he?s quite forgetful these days so I often have to prod him to remember things. Seriously, he?s my wonderful companion through time and I value his presence in my life more than I can say. It plans to be a memorable weekend.   |

Dear Bill,
The chemistry between you and Leonard Nimoy was evident early in Star Trek. It improved over time. I am so glad that a strong friendship has grown between you and him. I don't think that happens often in Hollywood. I can say it doesn't happen often anywhere. Cicero said,"Friendship is love." You and Leonard are both blessed.
I look forward to these new commercials! Since Leonard is "retired," he must have great fun playing with you! Have fun, guys!

Dear Bill,
I'm in England and the only commercials we have with you in them over here right now are those for Kelloggs Bran Flakes. Is there any likelihood that you and Leonard will do commercials together here? These commercials are very funny because you do comedy very well and I love it. Mind you, I love every time I get to see you on screen (which isn't often enough over here). I wonder if you remember about ten or eleven years ago you did a commercial over here for Powergen and it had the line in it "Not a brolly, you wally" - for some reason I remember that, and that was just great.
Many congratulations too on the award, not before time in my opinion. Great to know that the industry has finally recognised what the rest of us have known for years; you are a true legend, a damn fine actor, a great humanitarian and a genuinely kind man ... and, you have one of the most wonderful giggles God ever gave anyone; I love it!
