It?s been a while since I?ve led the Federation in an adventure, but this August 31st, in Joliet, Illinois, I am gathering up the troops once again. Whether you?re a Federation member, a Klingon, or a Borg, you?ll want to join me for what promises to be one of the most entertaining, adventurous, and downright COOL events you?ll ever do. That?s right ? I?m heading up the SPPLAT ATTACK! It?s going to be the biggest event of its kind ever (3000 players simultaneously playing a scenario that could have been the basis of one the original Star Trek episodes from the first season)! |

Paintball has gained in popularity more rapidly than many other sports. I myself am looking forward to sharpening my skills. You heard me right ? I?m taking up the cause of the Federation against the Borg and Klingon teams. The Klingons will be led by the famous nationally syndicated shock-jock, Mancow, while the Borgs will be led by one of the paintball gurus organizing the event. Of course, we also have the special team known as the Red Shirt Brigade (well, everyone knows what happened to the guys in the Red Shirts, right?) whose members are prepared to stop at nothing to help their cause. If you?ve got what it takes, you can join them ? or any of the other teams if you prefer. Either way, you?ll be on a team that?s gunning (no pun intended, of course) to win.
As if that weren?t enough, we?re also having a Star Trek convention on Saturday night after the event. Anyone who is interested, whether you participated in the event or not, is welcome ? as long as you love Star Trek, of course!
I can?t imagine having more fun and for such a good cause as handicapped kids (in case you didn?t know, the event proceeds will go to the Hollywood Charity Horse Show, which benefits handicapped children and other children?s programs). If you want to join me in spplating the Klingons and the Borg for a good cause, please sign up at warp speed on my website. Spots on my Red Shirt Brigade and the Federation team will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis.
